Why I’m running

A simple principle has defined my life: step up when help is needed. That commitment to service has never wavered, and it is the driving force behind my decision to run.

Following Commissioner Hall's passing, I felt a deep responsibility to honor his legacy by continuing the work he championed. Our paths in service share deep roots, and my approach reflects the same values he upheld: steady work, accountability, and putting people first.

For me, this isn't about a title—it is about showing up. I am running because I want to see our community move forward. I want us to take pride in our home, secure the resources we deserve, and build thoughtfully on the strong foundation laid before us.

I look forward to serving this precinct and Calhoun County. People deserve a real choice, and your vote matters. This job takes more than good intentions. It takes experience, steady leadership, and someone willing to do the hard work and be accountable for the results.

I have respect for anyone willing to step forward and serve our community. At the same time, this role requires more than familiarity. I believe my experience and leadership better prepare me to meet the responsibilities of this office and serve our county well.
